Pay Scale and Benefits
Basic Pay: ₹50,925 in the scale ₹50,925 – 2500(14) – 85,925 – 2710(4) – 96,765 + allowances.
Total Emoluments: Approx. ₹90,000 per month in Metropolitan Centres.
Other Benefits: Pension under NPS, Gratuity, Leave Travel Subsidy, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, and Company/Leased Accommodation. Doctors are eligible for a Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) of 25% of Basic Pay subject to rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01/05/2025)
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Born between 02/05/1995 and 01/05/2004 (both dates inclusive)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years; OBC (NCL) - 3 years; PwBD - 10 years; Others as per Government rules.
Educational Qualifications (as on 01/05/2025)
- Doctors (MBBS): MBBS/MD/MS or PG Medical Degree with valid registration.
- Legal: Graduate/Post Graduate in Law with ≥60% marks (≥55% for SC/ST).
- Finance: CA (ICAI)/ICWA or B.Com/M.Com with ≥60% marks (≥55% for SC/ST).
- Information Technology: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CS/IT or MCA with ≥60% marks (≥55% for SC/ST).
- Automobile Engineers: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech + at least 1-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering with ≥60% marks (≥55% for SC/ST).
- Generalist: Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline with ≥60% marks (≥55% for SC/ST).
Selection Process
- Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online, 100 marks, 60 minutes)
- Phase II – Main Examination (Online, 280 marks)
- Interview

- Others: ₹1,000 (includes GST and intimation charges)

- Handwritten Declaration (10×5 cm, 50-100 KB)
- Scans must be at 200 DPI, True Colour, JPG/JPEG format. Signature/declaration must NOT be in CAPITAL letters.
- Pay the application fee online. No hard copies are required to be sent.
